About Us
IPVS is an international scientific organisation that works to improve the prevention and management and treatment of the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV increases the cancer risk of women and men and is associated with 1 in 20 cancer cases worldwide.
IPVS inaugurated and leads the International HPV Awareness Campaign to raise public awareness and action to reduce HPV-related cancer risk. The focal point of the campaign is International HPV Awareness Day on March 4th.
